        iCoreRx and the Oregon Prescription Monitoring Program (PDMP)

        ​In 2018, Oregon law required that pharmacists and prescribers register with Oregon’s PDMP. Pharmacies must submit prescription data to the PDMP system for schedules II-IV controlled substances dispensed to Oregon residents. All Oregon-licensed physicians and PAs who have a DEA number will be authorized for an account to access information from the PDMP system.

        Texas Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) and iCoreRx

        ​In 2020, Texas law required that pharmacists and prescribers check a patient’s PMP history through Texas PMP AWARxE before dispensing or prescribing controlled substances including: opioids, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, or carisoprodol.
